Open Your Eyes

Stop faking it. You know you love me. Why deny it much longer? You can’t hide the obvious dear. I always see that spark in your eye. I can sense it in the way you talk to me. Why try to cover it up? You can’t fool me. Not by a long shot. It only takes a few words, from the first to the last Just to say what you feel. Honestly it’s not that hard love; you just force it on yourself And make it seem as if the world is coming down on you. And that act of yours babe isn’t going to work. Not this time. Tell me why, why you do these things to me. You know it kills me to know you won’t let me have you. Open your eyes; I’m so right for you. There is no other. All those times I was there for you I Know meant something worth while. Those cloudless nights I would sit with you to look into the sky. The days I would come to talk to you, rain or shine. And who could forget the times I’d spend with you when you were so lonely. Yet you act as if it all was nothing. Just tell me now and make it final. I don’t want any more excuses.
